Background

Nowadays, graduates need to have competence and employment skills to be competitive in the job market. Having a high degree alone does not guarantee a job opportunity. Instead, graduates must equip themselves with the relevant knowledge and practical experience, soft skills as well as a positive attitude to enable them to face real-world challenges in their chosen career. To increase the level of graduates employability, industrial training program were introduced to strengthen the competency required. Industrial training give students learning opportunities in the workplace in order to enhance their employability.


Briefing by Progam Coordinator

Industrial Training Program requires each student to have practical experience in industry, government organizations and research institutions to complement formal lectures and laboratory work. The program lasts for twenty four (24) weeks of each academic session.

Under this program, students will be sent to government agencies, professional bodies, research institutions and companies that offer products / services (referred to as the Organization) associated with agricultural goods and services, either from within or outside the country.
