About Us

8th International Agriculture Student Symposium (IASS) is scheduled to be held from February 21 to March 1, 2025, at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Serdang, Selangor, Malaysia. The theme of this year's symposium is “Youth Engagement & Innovation: Towards A Sustainable Future In Agriculture”. This symposium serves as an invaluable platform for our students and participants from around the world to exchange knowledge in agricultural research, foster industry connections, and advance youth development through communication and soft skills enhancement. Moreover, this event contributes to the promotion of Malaysia's vibrant agro-food industry, rich cultural heritage, and the nation's unity in diversity to an international audience. Participation in previous symposiums has been marked by enthusiastic involvement from students across five neighbouring countries, underscoring the event's significance and impact.
