Department of Plant Protection

The Department of Plant Protection focuses on the integrated and sustainable solution of pest problem solving and technology solutions through the use of natural control agents and enhanced with applied controls such as culture, biology and chemistry control. Preferred disciplines include entomology, plant pathology and pest management.

The department's goals are geared toward achieving excellence status in terms of teaching, research and development of plant protection technologies in the tropics.
