VISA & PASS

This site was made to give information to international students at University Putra Malaysia. According to the rules and regulations of the Malaysian Immigration Department, all international students are required to have a valid Student Pass to study in Malaysia. The government agencies responsible are the Malaysian Immigration Department and the overseas Malaysian diplomatic missions (i.e. Malaysian High Commission) and Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) is the private body appointed by the Ministry of Higher Education to process the international student visa.

Visa & Pass

Provide first class services to the international community regarding travel, visa and passport matters

1. Provide first class services related to visas and passes

2. Strengthen the management of complaints from the International community about Visas and Passes

3. Improvement of visa and pass documentation

4. Increase i-PUTRA's source of income from international student visa management fees
