Faculty of Agriculture in collaboration with the Local Agenda 21 Kuala Lumpur City Hall has organized series of Basics Urban Agriculture courses at the Institute of Kuala Lumpur City Hall. About 30 participants which were residents around Kuala Lumpur attended the course which have been held on every Saturdays. Until now, there were two series of courses had been conducted during April and May 2017. Through this course, participants were exposed to general crop care techniques including agronomy and plant pest control. The participants also undergo practical activities and site visits to the nearby city community gardens as inspiration to start a community garden activities in their respective areas.
