The Faculty of Agriculture has received visitors from the Department of Agriculture of Sri Lanka on the 13^th May 2024 as a step to strengthen relations in the seed production sector.  The Faculty discussed postgraduate issues where UPM once received 30 students from Sri Lanka in 2018.

It is hoped that this postgraduate program can be continued in the future. The Faculty of Agriculture would like to thank the three guests from Sri Lanka namely Dr. M.G.D. Lakmini Priyantha, Mr. M.C. Jayasinghe and Dr. W.M. Indika Weerasekara for their visit.
